CASEY ANTHONY’S CRIMINAL TRIAL HAS BEGUN
Before I jump into catching everyone up on current events revolving around this case, I want to remind everybody of why we are here.

This case grabbed our attention, enraged us and broke our hearts. Sure, I got Donna out of the deal (and am glad I did J ), but we have heard nothing but a crazy tangled web of lies and deceit from this family from the very beginning. We have seen one of the world’s most outrageous cases come to light, from the failure to report a beautiful 2 year old baby girl missing, right through to finding her bones with duct tape over her mouth in a black garbage bag in a ditch.

Alright – Now for the details!
This Tuesday morning on the 24th of May, 2011 the criminal trial of Casey Anthony finally began, 3 long years after she murdered her own daughter. The opening statements were well thought out and detail orientated from the state, and quite the opposite, rambling, accusatory and completely ridiculous from the defence.
For the first time in the case, Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick made statements to the effect that the duct tape was the actually murder weapon. ( Uhhhh, ya think?) She was composed and near her opening statement well. She laid out everything to come in the trial for the jurors in condensed form, and essentially proved herself as being a huge asset for the prosecution.
Jose Baez however was not as composed. All though I bet it is hard to be when you are lying so much, you trip up every once in a
while.
Bombshell #1 – Baez claims Caylee did drown in the Anthony pool on June 16th accidently. (Does anyone really believe that? – And oh it gets better!) Baez then adamantly commented that George Anthony held Caylee’s lifeless body in his arms after the drowning, and immediately blamed Casey, yelling “Look what you’ve done, your mother will never forgive you”.
Bombshell #2 – Baez actually BELIEVES this one – George Anthony started sexually molesting Casey at age 8 (here is where we get the “have her dad’s penis in her mouth” comment – AND YOU ARE ALL RIGHT – I AM TRADE MARKING THAT FUCKING SLOGAN. Imagine a shirt with “Casey Anthony had her dad’s penis in her mouth” on a T-Shirt! Email me your orders folks!).
George Anthony was the first witness to the stand in the trial – where he denied all the accusations made by the defence – and I have to admit, I don’t believe George did anything Baez claimed. He has done some questionable things when sticking beside Casey – BUT that was after the fact, and I believe he was the least involved. George and Cindy were surprised with the defence’s accusations (many of us were not surprised by the accusations, but by their timing….). Looks to me like Casey just lost her only supporters, as George and Cindy were later seen sitting behind the state. BOO-FUCKING-YA! I can’t believe I am going to say this, but I almost hope George files a slander suit against Casey and the defence.
And Here is a little shout out to Judge Perry, who, in my opinion, is the perfect man for the job!
